Most of the time, We developers depend on tools and references in every task to make our work easier.

So I made my own collection of tools and references that will make my Web Development work handy. I am sharing this because i think this would be helpful to other web developers who need some kind of tools like me.

Here are some of the tools from my collection.

Firefox Developer Edition

Firefox Developer Edition is a browser newly released by Mozilla developed mainly for Web Developers. What i really love about Firefox even before is the ability to inspect elements in 3D mode. Although their initial releases are not yet stable, I already did a test run with this version and i am truly impressed. Web developers will surely love this version of Firefox.


Screenfly is a web-based tool for responsive screen testing on monitors, tablets, smart phones, and more.


Lightshot is a small utility to take a customizable screenshot. You can choose to download or upload the file to their cloud server and share using the generated url.


colorpicker is a lightweight online color picker tool based in JavaScript. I used this tool in most of my projects for generating both RGB and HTML color values. It can also convert HTML value into RGB and vice-versa.

Just Color Picker

Just Color Picker is a free small software for windows that can pick and generate color anywhere in your screen by just pressing a hot key combination or ALT+X by default. What i like about this tool is it being portable where installation is not necessary to use the software. This tool can also generate RGB and HTML color values.

Ultimate CSS Gradient Generator

Ultimate CSS Gradient Generator is an online tool that will generate Photoshop like CSS gradient background-color. This tool generates CSS already comes with fixes for different browsers like older IE, Opera, Mozilla, and Webkit.

Lorem Ipsum

Lorem ipsum is an online reference for dummy text. It contains the standard lorem ipsum dummy text that you can use as text placeholder for your designs and templates.


Grumpicon is a free web-based tool makes it easy to use HD-ready (retina) vector illustrations, icons, and background images in your web project without the hassles of spotty browser compatibility. The tool processes a set of SVG files, generates PNG fallback images for legacy browsers, and exports a demo page showing how to use the final icons.


Placehold.It is a small utility that you can use as placeholder image by just simply placing the size of your placeholder after the url.
